Summary:

This report is an overview of the natural resources available in the BIMP-EAGA region. The main geographical areas of study are as follow:

• The whole country of Brunei
• The provinces of Indonesia which comprise of Kalimantan (West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, South Kalimantan and East Kalimantan), Sulawesi (North Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, Gorontalo, West Sulawesi), islands of Maluku (Maluku and North Maluku) and Irian (Irian Jaya or Papua and West Irian Jaya or West Papua)
• The state of Sarawak, Malaysia
• The islands of Mindanao and Palawan of Philippines
